Boone County Forum Gives Candidates A Scientific Platform

The Boone County Candidate Forum on Science and Technology Policy on Wednesday night gave voters a chance to hear how their candidates would handle scientific legislation. The forum featured five candidates running for the Missouri House of Representatives as panelists. Maren Bell Jones was one of the candidate panelists.

Columbia Parks and Recreation Proposes Project For Lions-Stephens Park

The Columbia Parks and Recreation Department is proposing an improvement project for Lions-Stephens Park. The project will be funded by the department's Park Sales Tax, which was voted into place in 2015. The department is working with the Benton-Stephen's community to figure out what improvements are needed most at the park.

 

I worked with BuzzFeed for my Spring 2020 Capstone class. My team’s job was to do research on Generation Z and give BuzzFeed content recommendations that would appeal to the Zoomers. One of my responsibilities was to write this summary of our findings for the Reynolds Jounalism Institute.
